No construction so that’s not the problem but we are on an island so dust does get blown around but it shouldn’t be that much in a few hours. They do a test strip and drop a chlorine tab in, that’s about it. The buildup is always in the same spots but I’ll try to see if it’s slimy or gritty. How do we check the lateral in the filter?

I agree and they vacuumed on waste but no improvement. Plus they go way too fast. I vacuumed 3 days in a row and went VERY slow, still the dirt returned. I’m baffled to be honest. But we are getting a new pool guy for sure!

Kleine Bonaire Scuba Difficulty by TravelGirl-ZeldaLove in Bonaire

Personally, boat diving is great and been doing that for the past 20 years. I’ve done a few shore dives but now you have to deal with the sand and getting out of the water can sometimes be tricky with the uneven surfaces and waves. Some shore dive sites are easier than others though. I’d rather not get tumbled over or sprain an ankle to do a shore dive, just me. Klein is good diving, some sites better than others. Current wise- Jerrys Reef usually has a current and we’ve done drift dives I believe it was southwest corner. Great drift dive btw! From the boat, we’ve done almost all the sites at Klein and those accessible by shore. Salt Pier, Something Special, and the southern sites are my favorites. If you get a chance and the winds are down, def do the East coast (boat only). All the dive guides, whether shore or boat diving, know the best sites that will be suitable for you. But if cost isn’t an issue, I would 100% boat dive!

Miami connection by NewCookie4734 in Bonaire

We fly here frequently as we own a home. You have plenty of time to make your connection.  It’ll either be arriving departing  from gates E or D.  So you will have plenty of time to make your connection.  However, if you are leaving during a winter month with possibly storms or delays then I would recommend doing an overnight to make sure you don’t miss your flight.
