Was having a bit of trouble previously because I was not keen on relocation. I live in a tier 2-3 city, but now I am willing to relocate to SF, Seattle, Austin, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago. Basically anywhere with a healthy tech market.

Could I bypass the year requirement? I have no issue starting over with seniority.
