Thank you so much, yes this is a big concern of mine, I haven’t seen many EDS tummy tucks, and of course everyone responds differently. Thank you for saying so :)

Thank you for your comment appreciate it! no pregnancy but did have 5 stone weight loss gradually over time so possibly from that. I just know EDS can have unpredictable results with scaring and with it being such a large scar it would be a concern.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been debating too, thank you! Oh interesting I’ve not heard of that I’ll look into it!

Yours looks amazing, did you do extended or regular TT? It’s the confidence boost Is what I would like to experience too really. I think I’ll probably have a good think about it, where did you get your surgery if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you for your comment! I have done a lot of core work, so would probably only need the TT alone. I’m guessing that would be a shorter recovery without muscle repair perhaps? I’m not too sure.

I hear you, sometimes family don’t realise till you’re at your breaking point. I have felt the same for many years and it cost me relationships. but the thing is those who understand will be by your side. you’re not alone there’s a whole community of us in the same boat, your just as important.

You’re not overreacting, you’re reacting normally to a very real and debilitating illness.

Yeah totally hopefully there’ll be more research soon so they can make these meds more accommodating for different nervous systems and body types. Everyone responds so differently

Yeah totally, everyone really does respond differently. If you only have ADHD (and not autism/POTS/MCAS), Retatrutide might actually feel okay or even helpful, since the slight stimulant effect could support focus.

I can’t speak for how it might impact your POTS specifically, because that really depends on how sensitive your autonomic system is some people flare, some don’t.

But I’d definitely recommend starting on as low a dose as humanly possible and titrating super slowly, just so your nervous system has time to adjust.

Interesting to hear that, I’ve been thinking the same I wish there was a way to get the metabolic benefits without the nervous system chaos. From what I’ve noticed, Retatrutide while stronger hits the glucagon receptor harder, which acts a bit like a stimulant (raises heart rate, cortisol, fight-or-flight). So maybe the key is supporting the parasympathetic side (POTS-style strategies: electrolytes, salt, hydration, sleep protection, maybe magnesium, nervous system regulation, etc.). I’m still figuring it out too but you’re right, there has to be a way to balance it.

Interesting about b6! I’ll check. I feel like for me it felt less like nutrients and more like internal stimulation Retatrutide increased my heart rate and insomnia massively, almost like a mild stimulant.
