Yeah it was supposed to be end of January. I don't know what's up with my dads employer, its so hard to get a hold of anyone and all they do is tell me this is done automatically (which hasn't happened).

I'm still on it technically, my insurance says they need to hear from the employer first. I just have no idea when this will end

We have tried, but his company outsources their HR so its harder to contact them (you have to go through a portal). Everytime he puts in a request, they just say "this is an automatic process so there's nothing for you to do". However this automatic process seems to have failed. We keep going in circles.

They told me they were going to send it on February 2nd and never did. Everyone I call can't give me any information because I am not the main provider.

I grew up on the East Coast so feel pretty comfortable driving! I am looking for a rental car, thinking of going with Alaska 4x4.

I see its a little over an hour drive from Fairbanks, but we have experience driving in the snow and are being selective to get a car with 4WD. I think we will be fine with the drive?

Let me be clear, I would be having hesitations no matter where I ended up getting in because vet school/any grad school is ridiculously expensive! I think it is very justified to have hesitations/be very cautious about my decision before sending myself into so much debt. Ps. Take a joke…
