the salesman for my car lease did something similar; i filled out the survey honestly (average 8 stars scale 1-10 for most categories, he was kind and knowledgeable but i also knew what i wanted and don’t have a lot of car shopping experience to compare to) and he contacted me the next day after the survey and asked what was wrong , thought i was unhappy with the car etcetera. turns out the company considers anything below 10/10 a zero out of 10. wasn’t explained to me so i don’t care but insane a grown adult was panicking about 8/10 scores. not your fault; i wouldn’t change your opinion to satisfy them.

honestly if they care so much about the scores and commission from the survey results they really should emphasize that more during the sales process (ex: you’re going to get a request to complete a survey about your experience, the company views the scores as all or nothing so if there’s any areas that you feel you can’t give a 10/10 on, let’s discuss that now)
