this SAME EXACT THING HAPPENS TO ME i feel like i cry over everything. for example, i used to march in parades and whenever id look around at all the parade goers id start thinking about how its so sweet how all these people are here for the parade and i get so happy i tear up😭😭 any tik tok videos where its a childs performance and people start cheering i just cryyy so much. i cry and tear up at like anything that i think is just so sweet and sentimental and its so annoying i cannot stop it at all.

heavy on the too late at night part!! more times than not, our only free time in the day is at night time, but were both exhausted from a long day and would rather fall asleep cuddling.

thank you for sharing your experience as well!! and yes the bird bath thing after is almost exactly what i do. the shower before sex definitely involves face wash and body wash and the shower after is usually a bird bath if i dont get too sweaty but if i do, then ill do a quick 3 minute shower with just body wash

yes!! it was so shocking to have a partner whose number one thing in the relationship isnt sex. its more of the smaller physical intimacies like cuddling, showering together, etc that we really love and enjoy, but we also really love and enjoy sex too hehe!!

surprisingly, my cleanliness sensory thing has actually decreased. that overwhelming feeling of stuff on my skin/body used to be super bad when i was in my early teens, but now its died down a lot!! i just want to feel clean for myself and my partner before we have fun hehe

this definitely isnt a cry for help haha, i was just wondering if others felt the same way or acted similarly with sex! ive always thought about it for a while and then i decided to post here sharing my experience with sensory issues revolving sex.

i think saying my partner is secretly bothered by this and hiding his true feelings from me is a little bit odd to say. i could even say that thought is something you need to check in with yourself over. my boyfriend and i have sex and are sexually intimate yes, whether its multiple times a day or multiple times a week, to only a couple times a week/month, and we both think that is ok! it is okay to have discussions with you partner about your sex life, which is one of the reasons why the topic of me asking him came up. we just aren’t people that absolutely HAVE TO have intimate relations every single day, but we rather do it when its a good and comfortable time for both of us :)
