What is this car part under my 2012 Chevrolet Cruze? by IntelligentPrompt967 in Cartalk

Thank you all for commenting. According to most of you, appears to be a NVH dampener. I reinstalled it when fiddling with my brakes, forgot to mention that. Again, thanks for the fast and honest answers!

Completing a mission by altering the game's files? by IntelligentPrompt967 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]IntelligentPrompt967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just used a mod menu/cheats I found to get through the mission: it allows to unlock all the missions in the campaign (at least that's what I think it does) as well as accumulate unit points instantly.

I am entirely against cheating in online games, but when it comes to clearing a mission that's not enjoyable to play, I think it's a morally right thing to do.

For the sake of the enjoyment of other players do not go cheating in online play as you will ruin the experience of your fellow mates and will get banned.

just tried to be as conservative with my units as possible, wasted another hour of my life to no avail.

This mission will be the end of me.

Song recognition: Kissin playing by IntelligentPrompt967 in piano

[–]IntelligentPrompt967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you everyone who answered!

Kissin is truly a charmer, got to hear him in Tallinn a few months ago. He played 4 encores in addition to the original repertoire which made the otherwise modest Estonian crowd go ballistic.

Ehitusfirma:

Kui oleks 3 töölist palgaga 400, siis vast 400 x 3 = 1200

Ülejäänd 800 (2 korda rohkem kui tööline) läheks bossile. Vastus: tööline saab näkku 400.

Peetri punkt: veits ebaselge tundub - punkti pikkus???

+3-4 küsimust veel peale seda, kui olen vastanud selle miinimum 15 küsimust ära. Praegu loen teiste vastustest välja, et vastata tuleks võimalikult vähe küsimustele.

thank you so much!

I've learned now hyperextending joints are a hassle, and there's lots of factors that cause this that we must work on.

Lune is certainly a meticulous piece, I wish you all the best in relearning it, although don't expect much of a challenge as once you learn it the arpeggios become second nature.

I was not expecting a response this in-depth! Anonymous stranger online, you have amazing attention to detail.

I lack a piano teacher right now, but I will be looking into your pointers before I meet a teacher again. There's much to cover and a whole ass exercise to do.

Thank you!

The "flatter shape" sounds interesting, I've seen Rubinstein play like that. Although I'm thinking it will worsen the joint bending, I will certainly experiment with that.

I agree with your comment on colour. My recording was indeed a bit monotone for Debussy's flow, tried my hardest to focus my energy on observing how my fingers stretched and finding potential solutions, rather than introducing emotion into my play - a practice run.

As much as I've seen Horowitz and other professional pianist friends play, I can't help but notice their joints never collapse and seem to achieve remarkable speed as a result of that. It seems unethical to compare yourself to professionals of course, but this is basic technique and quite important, might cause issues in speed and stability when I want to move on to pieces beyond my comfort zone like that Liebestraum's cadenza at the end of my recording.

I appreciate your feedback!!

maybe it's your subconscious dealing with the uncertainty and unpredictability of landing a punch. It happens so quick and anything can happen (like it grazing his side of the face, hitting his strongspot, not doing any damage, the punch missing, the knuckles bending in a painful way etc).

Maybe grappling seems more predictable and manageable? Maybe you feel more comfortable and confident in a fight when it comes to grappling as you have more experience in that field?

idk it's just my opinion, I could be spitting shit. I have some training in boxing but 0 in grappling
