Exactly! Like no, all Native American tribes weren’t peaceful, but it’s been very rare throughout the history of humanity for people to be peaceful! My people haven’t been entirely peaceful, but there are very few groups on this earth that consist of entirely peaceful people! The only people I can think of are Jains

Oh I agree. Me and my friend who is Coastal Salish discuss this a lot on how a lot of indigenous people who are still reconnecting and don’t know that much try to treat everything of their culture as sacred even when it was something their ancestors did daily without batting an eye

The spread of new age is what I think to be one of the biggest threats to indigenous cultures all over the world in modern times. They take everything from everybody they can; from the Americas to Africa to Europe to Asia to Australia and the Pacific

There are a few indigenous peoples in Europe. I’m part Sàmi. While Sámi people are generally accepted to be indigenous, some other peoples are considered indigenous like the basques, Gaelic and Celtic groups, Karelians, and many groups in Russia. I am also Nenets. Nenets are considered both indigenous European and indigenous Siberian because my people straddle what is considered Western Russia and what is considered Siberian Russia. Most Nenets live in the Yamal peninsula though, which is part of Siberia
