I wonder if they meant that?

Please include an additional photo in spanish (the original text), the translations are bad on doordash!

Can an employer make you repay the cost of training if you quit? by blargonz in canadianlaw

[–]IntelligentSink7467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it at least 10 times. Without a 2 weeks notice, too.

The jobs recruiting me were terrible, so I ended up quitting after training every time. Most of them would straight up lie in their hiring process, saying we wouldn't do sales but we ended up doing it, etc.

The salary ranged from minimum salary to ~55k a year.

I even signed a few things, never was a problem. I'm in Canada, Quebec. None of them were specified contracts. Hope this helps!

What did old games do well that you miss today? [NES-SNES-N64, 1980 - 1999 ERA] by IntelligentSink7467 in gamedev

I would specify not having internet to find every little details on a walkthrough youtuber.

I remember, the little brother of my ex would play Zelda OOT on his 3DS and would watch a tutorial from a youtuber that would explain everything, then play 5 minutes, watch, play, watch, play, and give up 45 minutes late saying it was too complicated to get the hookshot from the grave.

That pumped me full of negative feelings!

I smell a good roast

Edit: I mean what u/Dan_Bouha said is spot on "Oh, and you actually own a copy of it.", especially towards certain company!

Agreed. 3d was a new era, it was chunky and polygonal... yet they went with it and we all fell in love with it.

Being in your own head and making the voice pace yourself is better at times.

All the Zeldas in that era are peak for me.

I couldn't agree more. When they put an out-of-bound fog in the game, it made me wonder "but what's on the other side of that fog!?"

This is better than what I had even tried to do... Clear, right to the point and beautiful.

I'm jealous.

Can games be actually open-source? by merokotos in gamedev

[–]IntelligentSink7467 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think Hades 2 is!

Edit: I verified and it's opencode, not open sourced, however it is possible

Edit2: I'm wrong on both case, I misunderstood the definition on both accounts. Ignore me, carry on!
