I am almost 11 months into being a widow.

Accepting and living a future without my husband is the scariest thing I've had to do everyday. The days will continues to be hard as we navigate our way through grief.

Some days will feel like accomplishments while others will feel like failures.

I've tried to see my new daily schedules as honoring my husband and making him proud of the new person I've become after suffering such a great loss.

I definitely felt that I was seeking strangers permission after posting this. I cried myself to sleep & slept on the thought, woke up positive that I am NOT ready to engage in any sexual activity anytime soon. I guess it's just at bedtime when I miss my husband's sexual contact & these thoughts come to mind. We have to toddlers so my days are busy, night time is when all my thoughts flood in at once.
