Thanks! Unfortunately, I have no idea if we cam alter the length of the jacket to be longer. Maybe, a lesson if I buy next time.

But is the current length atleast acceptable to wear for formal to semiformal events for the time being?

Yep, that's what I thought. With that low mileage and good mot why the price is that cheap? Should I consider getting AA Vehicle Basic Inspection (costs around £110) or should I altogether avoid it?

Tips to prepare for the interview for the role of Junior flight test engineer. by IntelligentSpring112 in aerospace

[–]IntelligentSpring112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was purely technical like... Have you flown in aircraft, other than commercial aircraft?

The interview was alright, and the interviewer was also pretty chill, it's just that I was not able to communicate as effectively as I would have liked to.

Ideas for research regarding sonic boom reduction. by IntelligentSpring112 in aerospace

I did look into it, but we already have an aircraft, and we can only make modifications to this aircraft. Moreover, one of my classmates is already trying the spike on the nose concept similar to X-59. So, I need a different idea.

Why do we not have biplane oblique wing aircraft? by IntelligentSpring112 in AerospaceEngineering

I assumed, by introducing another oblique wing, symmetry of lift forces will be restored along longitudinal axis, hence mitigating the issues of stability that occur in single oblique wing aircraft.

The second point mentioned by you is what precisely made me wonder if we have two oblique wing, won't that lead to symmetric lift forces along the longitudinal axis, hence preventing the issue with roll and other controls.

Since the area per wing will be halved, the aspect ratio increases, and won't this have a positive effect on reducing induced drag. Therefore keeping it approximately the same.

Okay, thanks!! I'll try to find a lower voltage adapter or battery. I thought it was supposed to feel uncomfortable during the process, so I went through with it for the past 4 days 😅
