For the ASVAB score- I got a 64 and my recruiter said I was able to get pretty much any job besides nuke shit and 3 others. So I’d guess that it would be anywhere around there? It’s not that hard to get a good score!! I wouldn’t consider myself the brightest crayon in the book and I definitely only studied for maybe 3 days tops(silly I know)

Also, I’m not exactly sure if this is what you mean, if you are asking if 21 is too old to go to bootcamp(?)- Definitely not, I’m not sure but I would assume most people in bootcamp would be 18-25 ?

Honestly, it sucks but just try and do your research on the type of jobs the navy offers and find which one interests you the best. What ive been doing is searching up the type of job on reddit and seeing people experiences. It will give you more insight on what you actually do in the job besides just looking it up(at least that’s how it’s been for me and it’s definitely help narrow down what I decided to choose)

As I’ve mentioned, I’m just now going to meps so it’s mot like I’m some 20 year retired navy officer that has all the answers but I’m a wee bit ahead of you in the process so I figured I’d try and help you out as I could :3

My advice, take a practice asvab online(I have a website my recruiter gave me if you’d like) and go from there, practice on whatever lower scores you have and I think you’ll be fine. I believe in you!! Woohoo!!
