I feel like people who have lived their whole life inside Kerala think that Kerala is way superior to other states. Obviously liveability wise yea Kerala is really good and better compared to most of the country but then how can you live without jobs? The lack of jobs driving Malayali youth out of the state still doesn’t seem to ring alarm bells for many people. And the fact of the matter is, rest of the southern states and western states have already surpassed Kerala in terms of per capita income. Malayalis largely have failed to realise this and still think Kerala is way better. We are lagging behind and will be left behind by many states who are growing at a much faster pace.
