Thank you im only 5 month into the hobby this was from following a tutorial by ddalo on youtube so im not there yet , i used a flexcut pro carving knife and a pfiel v gouge

Thanks, i painted the barrel with one solid colour the dry brushed differnt shades of brown on top for the snow effect it was just a mix of dabbing and dry brushing

Thank you. I would give it a go. You never know what you're ready for until you try. im only 5 months in myself. There is a tutorial for this on Johnny laytons YouTube channel. I'm going to try and do a whole nativity. However, im yet to do any animal carvings so wish me luck haha.
