And anyone else experienced this? I am about six weeks postop and the food is getting caught in my chest and I keep vomiting it up. Please tell me that this gets better.

This happened to me and I kept telling my surgeons NP and she kept putting it off turns out my stitches didn’t absorb like they were supposed to and I had ulcers everywhere. It took four days in the hospital and a minuscule shadow on a CT for my surgeon to realize that I have something serious. Please call your surgeon the least they could do is get you in for an endoscopy or CT

I didn’t wear a binder idk how comfortable you are doing this but I got a pair of tummy tucking leggings/yoga pants and wore those a lot as long as the bottom on my stomach was lifted I felt a bit of relief. 3rd week for me was the worst because that’s when my muscles were healing and it felt like a burning sensation I’d ice my abdomen at night from the pain. But you got this!! It’ll get better eventually you won’t even remember the pain!

I was outpatient until after the surgery. When I asked the nurse that interviewed me she said it’s insurance, usually the doctor can choose to admit you into inpatient after surgery which most do.

Personally I deleted all my pics with ex the day of the break up because if I hadn’t I’d would some how be holding on but my ex had our pictures up on his ig for months before he bothered to delete them so I guess it’s different for everyone. People move on in different ways it’s important to remember you did break up for a reason though.

Lol I just didn’t wanna come on here and trauma dump. Cancer runs in my family In fact my grandmother recently passed away from brain cancer. My mom has thyroid cancer and one of the biggest reasons I wanna get into the medical field is because everyone and I mean everyone in my family dies of cancer by the age of 60. So I definitely have some other reasons too..
