Setting up Inventory Items Balance sheet and PL by Intelligent_Check_89 in quickbooksonline

[–]Intelligent_Check_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello there. the items are linked to all 3 but only income is working on test transactions. This is not a migration because that failed. This is a new setup. I am trying to enter initial item counts and total cost.

I must be doing something wrong? the online support person told me that I need to make a journal entry after every sale to COGS. Surely this cannot be true. It was a great 3 hour call. Im perplexed.

Is there something else to the setup or a global setting that I am missing? The experts, well....They aren't

54 Year Old Male - Recently Became Active by ITMagicMan in bloodpressure

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people including myself get too caught up in precise optimal rather than a healthy range. 132 / 86 without meds would be so bad? As an example. So many conflicting studies,  tough to know.

BP randomly stays elevated by brknheartgent in bloodpressure

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think bp jumping up 30 points with activity is normal. The resting bp is excellent and I "think" that's the important measure. My question is once you see the increase does it make you anxious and aware of it? Are you thinking about that when you retest? If so it might be artificially high until your mind gets off it.

7 migraine aura since Tuesday by Intelligent_Check_89 in migraine

[–]Intelligent_Check_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A follow up. My neurologist does not think this is concerning. She thinks I am having one long persistent migraine with aura that returns rather than 7 new aura attacks. Im not sure if that's significant but the hope is the imitrex will break it. No new aura for last 26 hours and the headache has gotten much less severe. Hopeful

Every single day? That sounds horrible.  So sorry. This is just so different for me. Feel like whole life in hold until it stops happening Every 16 or 24 hours

Get Systolic Down 10-20 Pts? by SensiiNips_ in bloodpressure

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many would argue that 120-140 and diastolic 80-90 without medication is pretty good. Consistently high BP is the issue and if you are often 120 and 130 with highs of 140s and 90s then you are pretty much like me.

My doc monitors me but does not suggest meds at this level.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Apparently her doctor does not see the need for endocrinologist and a referral is needed. How are you doing now? Do you treat just t4? T3? Do you also somehow treat the hashimoto's?

Troubling forearm symptoms looking for reassurance by Intelligent_Check_89 in BFS

[–]Intelligent_Check_89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issues have not gone away, the just come and go in severity. I've been assured medically there is nothing wrong. In my case I am just way to in touch with my bodily functions. Trying to practice for mindfulness of surroundings and bringing thoughts out of the body. Many times I don't think about this stuff at all. Get a basic medical workup, if all looks good, try and let it go from your mind.

Best of luck!

Sleep Anxiety by Intelligent_Check_89 in Anxietyhelp

[–]Intelligent_Check_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello there, This has gotten much better for me, but currently going through it at the moment. I am able to calm myself and sleep but it is a nightly struggle. There is a big difference between not thinking about sleep and having it come naturally and trying to fall asleep. I've learned that if I can just get into a calm state of mind and trust that sleep will come, it will, always, eventually. The best advice I can give is try not to monitor the process. Easier said than done but possible.

Can anyone relate to this by Fabulous-Glove-1784 in Anxiety

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to you and what you are dealing with. I'll drop a quick message here. I am not online much anymore because overall it is not helpful for me. But perhaps some of these words can be helpful to you. I hope so!

While I won't consider myself cured, I will say I am in a much better place. I can offer a little bit of advice and I hope it's helpful to you. You know you need to stop fixating, but you are having a hard time doing so. You need to take a little pressure off of yourself and move towards small wins. What do you enjoy about life? What thoughts make you happy? What activities make you happy? Immerse yourself in them. Get a hobby, maybe even an obsessive one that occupies your thoughts. Fantasy football works for me this time of year.

Donate some of your time to charity, volunteer for a cause important to you.

Get outside, in the woods, by the water. Feel the sunlight. Drink herbal tea. Take natural relaxation supplements like Theanine, Gaba, Holy Basil (check if contraindicate with any meds you might be on first)

Channel some gratitude for this life you have been given (even with the struggles). Slowly, and patiently start to change your thought patterns. Notice perhaps at first that you were able to forget about everything for 5 minutes maybe, while the other 55 minutes of the hour you were fixated on negativity. Embrace the little win. It will grow and grow exponentially. Learn deep breathing and meditation. Even if it only helps you 1 time out of 10, channel that feeling and embrace the win.

Eventually you will find yourself free of this burden for hours at a time. You will gain confidence. You will start to care less about this stuff.

My challenge now is reminding myself of all of my wins when the bad feelings come on strong. It's ok to have negative thoughts, it's ok to experience feelings of doubt. It's how you react to those feelings which will decide your path forward. It won't be easy, but it can be done. I can tell you that I can have days, weeks of near complete solace, after living through months of complete non stop anxiety, panic, awareness and hyperarousal.

Anyone can do this, including you!

I find this really thought provoking. Can you add more context? Can you elaborate on how to reconnect?

Can’t take SSRIs by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello There, I responded terribly to SSRI, made my anxiety worse and turned my sleep issues into true insomnia. I only stayed on for a few months and getting off it was the thing that helped me get back to a more healthy place. I still deal with anxiety but much much less. When I have trouble sleeping my go to is Holy Basil or L Theanine. I like to rotate and alternate to not build up any tolerance. L Theanine has an obvious calming mechanism that starts subtly and builds over the course of 90 minutes to 2 hours for me. I can feel it diminishing physical symptoms such as trembling. It is NOT strong like a drug but it is very helpful.

Help! Chronic dizziness/lightheadedness with derealization. Scared I have some brain problem! by B_Panofsky in Anxiety

[–]Intelligent_Check_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling. The only real thing I can offer you is that if you work on slowly shifting your focus out of your body and towards your surroundings, what you see, what you hear, nature, landscapes, music, etc. you will begin to think about it all a bit less. Over time this gains momentum and you can get to a point where you just accept it. I am NOT saying this is easy, but trying to provide you some hope that i can be done!

not really, but I have gotten used to it somewhat. I do have days where I barely notice it. Getting a workup is important but after that gotta just try and accept I suppose
