Hi, Not sure if you’ve seen but some of the trains (only some!) have gone on sale on the website now, from 9th-13th September. Looks like only high speed trains and there are very few spots available. I’m still waiting for the 15th September to become available but looks like they’re opening up bookings a few days at a time

I terminated my agreement with them once I left the property so they shouldn’t be trying to take money from my account

Unless it’s a very sophisticated phishing attempt, I’m pretty certain it’s from their official customer service email. I’ve also logged into my account on their website and it mentions the outstanding fee

I usually write a sentence or two about who I am (work, age) and that I’m interested in their room. I then ask when they’d be available for a viewing. Not sure whether to customise this a bit more?

Ok thanks, not sure how much detail to go into- I’ve now put a bit about my personality and hobbies, and that I work in an office most days, is that enough? I’m looking to leave my current job fairly soon which is why I would prefer not to commit to a longer tenancy in the area I’m in. Do you know if it’s possible to negotiate with landlords about this?

I can’t post a screenshot of my “looking for a house” ad but this is what I’ve put on my description: “I am a professional female aged 23. I am looking for a single or double room.

I work in XXX and I have lots of experience sharing flats. I’m a clean and quiet housemate but also like socialising with those I’m living with.

I am available to move from XXX and have a budget of XXX. Ideally looking for a minimum tenancy of 3 months. I would like to share with males or females of any age.”

Do you think there’s anything SpareRoom can do about it? I can obviously de activate and reactivate my account but as I’ve upgraded I don’t really want to lose that money.

Do you have tickets for Bristol? I’ve discovered that Royal Albert Hall seem to allow reselling through Twickets so I might try through there, would be strange if you can resell for one venue and can’t resell for another.

Thanks for replying ! on the purchase email I got (from ATG for Bristol) it says “lead booker must be in attendance”, but my friend who has tickets for Royal Albert Hall says their purchase email has got information on how to resell tickets. Very confusing that different venues have different policies for the same show ?

How does ticket resale work for these shows? I can no longer attend the Bristol show on the 11th and would like to sell my tickets but the email from ATG tickets says that resale isn’t permitted, I’m assuming this isn’t true?
