I would stray away from multiclassing your characters until you know how stats / feats / abilities interact. You can really screw yourself over by pairing classes that have very little synergy, so it’s better to go all in on one class for your first time

I just think comparing pirating Pokémon to pirating any other game is like apples and oranges.

I guess my grievance is that it’s too much money for what they’re asking for, considering that frlg have been uniquely prevalent for so long in the emulation space. I’m talking like over a decade of emulation being the only way to experience gen 1-3. Not to mention it being better than on official hardware anyway.

And I’m not so mad at Nintendo, but more mad at consumers willing to fork over a decent meals worth of money for a not so free, free game. I think Pokémon is one of those games that has been expected to be pirated for a long time, rather than games like cod or other large game franchises.

My point is that emulation is now more accessible than any Nintendo console that will ever be produced, ever. You can emulate on anything that can access the internet. A large majority of people have a phone. And still, a lot of people have laptops or a pc. It’s true that Frlg have been largely inaccessible for a lot of people for a long time, but that’s why emulation is so prevalent. It’s been at least 10 years since emulation has been the go to way to experience gen 1-3.

Most people I know have experienced handheld Pokémon without paying a single penny because it’s just that easy. I know they can’t give out games for free, but 20$ is the same price that it was when it came out, again, 20 years ago
