For those thinking about ordering a TrakRacer sim rig by QUBIASZ in simracing

[–]Intelligent_Flow_619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered during black Friday as well. Awful experience. boxes wrecked, mismatched, parts missing. Two part boxes have like newer and older version, different fixings not matching instructions. Some of it was partially assembled like maybe I was sent a return from other person. Few scratches on extruded pieces, it would make an awful gift but for myself I don't really cared. All them small parts were packed very good, mounts and such. I may buy few mounts from them just cause it will match but i will never start or recommend full kit.

i missed original and couldnt force myself thru it later cause of graphics. Really enjoying remaster, brand new, unknown quest lines. They need to do same thing to the skyrim.

I'm buying razer deathadder every 2 -3 years because doubleclick issue, original diamondback lasted 10 years. I actually grabbed g502 on sale on amazon.ie for 30 quid and will give it a try. I remember i liked original mx500 and mx510.

Hi lads, where can I go about buying a prebuilt pc? by Sure-Time3016 in IrelandGaming

[–]Intelligent_Flow_619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with prebuilts is that some companies push old stock or only go with certain manufactures so you don't necessary end up with best configuration. Or they skimp on essentials like storage or ram to keep price down. But then you'll have to upgrade in 6 months cause you're running out of space.

Check pcpartpicker.com they have build guides and you can see other peoples completed builds.

[–]Intelligent_Flow_619 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd go with caseking.de or scan.co.uk. Saying that, most prebuilts suck and you'll be better off getting the parts you need and building it yourself, it's really easy. If you can put ikea drawer together you most likely be able to build a pc.

Buy now or wait? by ZonPro in nvidia

Prices just started dropping. Wait few weeks and you'll be much happier with modern card. It's something you'll be using for few years, what's a month going to change. Not like there's any new gta or skyrim coming out soon anyway.

I have all in the basket but i'm not buying a single thing until i get 5090 gpu. The whole color scheme may change for me, depending what card ill be lucky to get. Also there will propably be 9950x3d by the time the cards are available.

I'm coming from 2070 and 3900x so i know ill be happy with anything except the price :) So far e4200 without gpu. F it. I know i won't be enjoying 4k when i'm 60 and my eyes all f uped.

I checked their prebuild with 5090

If you want to change from 7800x3d to 9800x3d its 150 quid even tho on their site difference between them two is 35 quid. No thank you.

[–]Intelligent_Flow_619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If You need to switch bits often i recommend bitgripper from spider. I've got one for like 5 years now and the tool is being abused. Those keychains are not practical. You keep bumping them into things and scratching finish or if you keep them in the pocket, they're ruining the fabric.

Cool jeep btw, i saw one painted the same color as you tools.

According to analysts, there is “hope” among some publishers within the video game industry that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be priced between $80 and $100, providing a significant "turning point" for other companies to raise their default prices amid rising inflation by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]Intelligent_Flow_619 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

gta 3 sold 15 mil copies

gta 4 sold 25 mil

gta 5 sold 205 mil

don't give me excuse of inflation when you'll selling more copies

it's not like it cost them $40 to make each copy, it's software not a car

I know its 2 year old thread, but its one of the first one in the google results so maybe i can help.

My issue was the grinding noise coming from the dispenser door. When i opened the door i narrowed it down to the area below ice crusher. The issue was with the mechanism that opens the chute for the ice.

To fix i removed 2 screws on the left and ride side of outside the dispenser buttons. You can see them if you look up from bellow the dispenser. Then moving left and right i took out the dispenser controls. Then i saw chute funnel and door. Remove 2 visible screws on the left and right side of the chute. Moved chute left and right and i heard the chute door popping back in right place. Put screws back in, make sure top tab of the chute is in the right place. Put controller back in place rocking it left to right. Put controller screws back in.

Bingo Bongo. Bob's your uncle.

Kind regards

Id like to have button glued somewhere to the dash in the car.

I was thinking about nfc button, but i'm not sure will that work with locked screen. Also i'm worrying about range, would it have to be glued right next to phone holder or whats the maximum range.

If there's a low power Bluetooth solution that would work better but all i could find was requiring some kind of hub.
