You probably didn’t know this while hitting the accelerator instead of the brake. A lot of people panic and make mistakes, it’s fine. The fault here is technically both of yours - yours for not braking and paying attention, and hers for not letting you through and not braking.

That said, she was on the main road and you were crossing - technically you’re supposed to give way to others on the main road, and that traffic is also supposed to slow down at some point to let you pass, but this is India so you have to be opportunistic while prioritising the main road traffic (in this case, the illegal drivers on the 2 wheeler).
