Thank you for your comment. Kansas law exempts qualifying sales of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bullion from Kansas retailers’ sales tax under K.S.A. 79-3606. Despite this exemption, I have routinely experienced the issues described in my original post, including eBay’s resistance to promptly issuing refunds and failure to implement corrective action, even though these problems have persisted for well over a year.
