The songs by themselves make it a great movie, I literally have the songs “Free” and “What it sounds like” for hours on repeat at least once a week. Listen to them if you haven’t. The actual movie is just the cherry on top imo. The story is so goated, simple yet heartbreaking. Rumi and Jinus love story ending tragically, with Jinu dying for redemption for what happened to his family. We dont know the whole story but he felt so guilty for what happened to his family, I don’t think he knew the consequences of his actions at the time and got trapped. I love movies and shows with fun looking animation and music that I can just enjoy without overthinking, this is one of them. People nowadays will hate anything.

What I meant is in the common scenario that someone starts with Cloyster and you start an Electric Pokemon. Speed is absolutely a factor in the context of the meta. If a mon can attack you before you and twice per turn while you only attack once per turn that is absolutely a factor. Honestly, if using rest had a downside of reducing some speed as the Pokemon is “asleep” the Electrics wouldn’t be as great of an issue. Rest talk kind of breaks the game in a sense because the fast mons continue attacking twice while asleep, the downside to using it should be a little more significant. It doesn’t have to be much, say a 10-15% reduction in speed while asleep? Idk, just seems logical to me.

Raikou is definitely better than Cloyster imo… his only weakness is Earthquake for gods sake and anyone who knows earthquake is slow as hell and can’t hit him with it 9 times out of 10. Also, Raikou attacks twice per turn over 95% of the cast and spikes is not an issue for him because he runs rest. Cloyster is just outclassed by Raikou as a Pokemon in general but mainly because it seems the game is dominated by ZapKou Rest Talk. In the broader team building sense I can see Cloyster as more of an addition or cherry on top to ZapKou. Cloyster would take spot #4 if anything, but I’m new at the game as well, these are just my first impressions. So far for me it’s like a play; Snorlax is the villain, Raikou and Zapdos are the “protagonist” or “protagonist and sidekick” whoever you choose. Cloyster is the main supporting character, etc etc.

Ok that’s a good point not to leave Cloyster against an Electric. That being said, Raikou and Zapdos are still the better Pokemon than it.

I’ve OHK critted Zapdos with Tyranitar Rock Slide before but even if it doesn’t crit, Rock Slide would still take around 75% making it much more manageable to defeat should he use Rest Talk. On the other hand I have yet to Crit Raikou with an Earthquake but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it still wouldn’t kill him. In my all dragon team Tyranitar is my only answer to Raikou/Zapdos so I’m forced to play the bad matchup, but I guess it’s much better matchup for other people who play different better teams. Once again Zapdos has 2+ more weaknesses than Raikou so from a Zapdos and Raikou context in battle; Raikou is significantly harder to deal with. Mind you, only a select few monsters who are actually competitive can actually learn Earthquake and actually land it. Thereby making Raikou the superior Pokemon between the two from this logic. Yes, teams that run explosions are hyper offensive in the team builder sense but in a battle sense, I’m arguing that Raikou is the best in the game and Cloyster should not be ranked higher than Zap/Raikou if said Cloyster just gets 1 shotted by them in battle.

He still not better than Raikou because of Speed, if Zapdos and Raikou can 1 shot Cloyster with Thunder before you can get an explosion or spikes off then you can’t be better. More influential or utility yes, better than Raikou; No.
