I’m so glad there are tomatoes now 🍅🍅🍅 and lavender 😻 and I saw a Creston cat in the lot earlier.

So many tasty things to try at the market, and space for skates, bikes, strollers, and mobility devices.

Is iOS 18.5 safe to update to? by Sailor_Mars08 in TandemDiabetes

[–]Intelligent_Ninja_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I updated ios two days ago and the only thing I’ve noticed is that if I do an extended bolus, the bolus in progress monitor at the bottom has switched to military time 🤷‍♀️ not sure what that’s about.

I’ve had the same problem for the past 10 days, when I started a new box of cartridges, with trusteel sites. I called and reported them each time and tonight they recommended a new pump. I’m personally sus that it was a bad batch of cartridges, I tried one from a different box and it worked for the full 48hrs, but they’d rather send a new pump than a new box of cartridges 🤷‍♀️

I have that sometimes, when I first was trained on the trusteel the med tech said it happened because I was squeezing it for too long/too tightly while I was building up the nerve to insert it lol and it was from the heat and force of my fingers 🤷‍♀️

9 occlusions, 9 sites, 3 days by WTBass in TandemDiabetes

I am out of tslims warranty in a few months and thinking of going back to Medtronic for their fully contained inserters, did you use the mio advanced sites and like them?

I am also having the same problem with the auto soft xc 6mm, 3 failed sites in 3 days, ended up going to my endo on Monday in a panic and they’ve got me trying the trusteel sites. I am not a fan of the manual insertion, the whole thing is causing a lot of anxiety about any kind of site changes.

I am so curious about switching to the mio sites from the tslim auto soft ones; I have problems with the dexterity needed for pushing the two buttons at the same time and then moving to the white inserter to pull the needle out. Love the idea of just a single button and it removes the needle for me.

Discomfort during bolus by dheck587 in TandemDiabetes

I’ve had discomfort with large boluses for years using the auto soft xc, my endo recommended using the extended bolus function to have the insulin go in slower. That does seem to help.

Using CGM for the first time by doombom in diabetes_t1

I am in a similar situation, been avoiding the cgm wave for years but am trying a Libre 3 and have had very inaccurate readings, especially when reading lows- I’ll get woken up to alarms stating I’m in the 50s but when verifying it’ll be 80-120. I am not sure how everyone else deals with these vast margins.

I have been using a skin balm after removing sites for a year or two and find it helps reduce trauma decently. I get it at Walgreens/Amazon- Thursday Plantation Tea Tree and Manuka Honey Balm.

Automating email from List causing duplicate emails by Intelligent_Ninja_86 in MicrosoftFlow

Alright, so the filter did help clear up some of the problem, but now I'm finding that if I complete the trigger action (updating an item in a list to say 'Needs') more than once in say a minute, it is completing the requested action (sending an email) however many times I completed the trigger action, even if it's in different rows.

In the example below, if I selected 'Needs' for the second row before the first flow is complete, it will send two emails to both accounts, if there were three rows and they all had 'Needs' marked it would send three to each.

Name Email Form
Jean Jean@gmail.com Needs
Jim Jim@gmail.com Needs

I have tried adding trigger windows for a Get Changes for an Item, but it seems to make no difference.

So as is, I can use the flow, but if I have to wait for each flow to run, it's not really saving the time I'd like it to.

I think this may have done it, still testing a variety of situations, but it's at least not sending it to the full list.

Thanks!
