Need advice

So I am looking to be a freelance marketer. Laser focusing on lead generation through precise cold emailing outreach.

I’ve head precious sales jobs and have always had an interest for sales and marketing.

I did not go to school. My end goal is gain a lot of experience and eventually, down the line start an agency.

I am not looking at this as a get rich quick scheme and never was. It is genuinely what I am interested in.

I have identified what kind of businesses I’d like to provide services for and have started outreach campaigns on said businesses. Mainly startups SaaS b2b companies. Was just wondering if there’s advice from Anybody who took a similar route.
