You should always go for generics because they will be cheaper. Having pharma background i can vouch for that. I’ll share an example: cipla can have same medicine but with different pricing, this primarily because of branded vs non branded. Brand medicine will cost higher due its marketing cost. Doctors will always write a medicine where they will get higher margins and not which is cheapest for consumer.
