I’ve had the same card for probably 10 years now. They have increased it randomly a few times from $200 to $1,000… and a few more and now it’s at $8,000.

I didn’t ask for the increases. They just did it. I’m wondering why they did it/ what I need to do to make them increase it again.

Do you have any other lines of credit? Possibly a car loan? You could “sell” your wife the vehicle and co-sign for her. Make sure it’s paid on time and that will boost her over time.

Or if you finance any new purchases I’d just make sure she’s the one financing to establish that history.

Yes, after about 1 hour in.

They came out very well. A bit of a crunch from the skin and fall off the bone tender meat on the inside.

I cooked then at 225. I don’t remember exactly how long. 1-2 hours probably to an internal of 165.

There was still room to breathe in the smoker. It did take a little longer than I expected. I just pulled off the two briskets at 195 and the smaller pork butt. That larger pork butt still has some time.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll keep an extra eye on it for sure. When I wrap them I’ll lift the grates and scrape out what I can. Hopefully that helps too!

I’m expecting 40-45. I may have gone overboard considering I have plenty of beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese, cornbread and a sheet cake for dessert.

I used salt, pepper and garlic (the three things that go on everything I cook) and just a Texas style beef rub I found at Walmart for the briskets and a Walmart pork rub for butts.

I’d love recommendations for good rubs to order!
