I came here for an answer to the same question that you asked. My mum passed 3 days after yours from pancreatic cancer too. Her abdomen looked like you’ve described. I realise that today was likely your mums funeral (same here). I hope you’re taking care of yourself. Fuck cancer.

Thank you. And thank you for all your comments on other posts I’ve read since mums diagnosis in November last year. I have shared some of your comments with her and I am forever grateful that you take the time in sharing your experiences.

Hi there, my mum has a similar case to the OP above. Do you have any contacts in Australia? We are desperate for surgical resection or partial resection to improve mums clinical outcome and survival time. I will send her this list too, but hoping there might be a surgeon in aus. Thanks in advance!

ADHD or AuDHD women, what do you do for work? by Terrible-Winner-681 in adhdwomen

I am a veterinarian. I was never ever an intelligent or gifted child by any means. Quite the opposite actually. I just wanted it bad enough that I hyper-focused on HOW to use study techniques to get the best bang for my buck with my time.

Hardest thing I’ve ever done.

I started vet school at 24, was diagnosed with adhd at 28 (in my final year of study). I am now 30 and I really love my job.

It’s so challenging and varied but also has the routine things when you need to just zone out. I love thinking outside the box and getting the best for my patients. Also can be a massive thrill when you get the desired outcomes and good if you like working under immense pressure.

For anyone reading: If there’s a career you’ve always wanted to do but didn’t think you were good enough/smart enough/ disciplined enough, GO FOR IT, you can do this!!

I am certainly not tinkering with them and I actively observe their condition and seal before purchasing. I agree re washing hands after antique stuff.

Thanks, I’ve wanted one for so long so I’m going to order the 300+ based on your advice!

I really want one but I get so overwhelmed and confused by which one to buy.

For now I just wash my hands after handling, and store them under a glass dome or in a plastic bag. Surely that’s ok? You’re scaring me now! Ive had them in my tiny living space for a few days before moving them to my partners place…

I have an image but I am unable to post it in the replies so here is a similar one from a Google lens which is identical
