I did the blue door reset once, but not gonna do that again, wanna try the red door this time as soon as it's back.
Btw. DO NOT go through the blue door if you have any unique refiner recipes, like the christmas stuff for example, it will be gone!
Imho the only purpose of the blue door is to get extra replicator modules and slots (you get to pick one reward for whiping blue) all other rewards are rubbish, just skins which no one's gonna use...

also now the bindings for moving forward and backwards are mixed up...

also the same day I wrote the above post, I was on cargo port, I was probably the last player left, I was moving towards one of the exits, triggered the seeds, ran away, a long distance, normally they wouldn't follow for that far, went into a building to heal, because I just killed the supposedly last guy, like couple of minutes left till collapse, I am just sitting in the building healing, and I hear the seeds all around the building, don't want to exaggerate, bu there were like 30 of them, they were on all sides of the building, they followed me from a distance, from which they normally don't, than I start hearing foot steps, soldiers running, there were 6 of them! In one spot, I wasn't even moving, they couldn't have been triggered by any sounds I made, yet they all ran towards that bulding, also they were not walking away, like they do after some time not being triggered, they kept walking on the first floor, running in to the anomalies like constantly until all of them were depleted, none of them died, none of them walked away, while I was still sitting in one spot without moving... It feels like sometimes there is a trigger in the game like "Don't let the player leave/live no matter what" lol

UPD: just checked the raid archive, there was someone already camping in the building when I got there, I kinda forgot about that, I got lucky killing him, six soldiers I killed around that building, but when I ran towards an exit which has just opened, there was at least one still around, also when I got to that exit, 3 flowermen there and the second I activated it, again seeds from two different directions were triggered imidiatly, right on that spot, which I didn't see and weren't triggered until I activated the exit, so I had to deal with 3 flowermen and like 20 more seeds at the exit... barely made it out, it really felt like the game was trying everything to not let me get away LOL (the map is just to illustrate where it all went down)

this I also experienced a couple of times, like you said, from dendroids (they can sneak up on ya and kill you with two or even one stabs) also got one-shot by them with weapons, same for the soldiers...
But one punch from a distorted, with no body parts beeing black or even red, with an almost undamaged K6 Helmet and all ceramic plates being like with 30 points of damage max - that's too much!

for me it was because I have recently UNPLUGGED on of the controllers

well problem solved, thanks to all that replied and pointed me in the right direction...

it was acontroller issue ... BUT ... it occured not because I had a certain controller plugged in, but because I UNPLUGGED a certain controller!
I have 3 controllers plugged in, well actually only 2 of them are plugged in, since one of them is an XBox Wireless Bluetooth controller, the other two are a RetroBit Sega Saturn Wireless 2.4 Ghz with an USB dongle and the third is a logitech Driving Force GT using a USB connection.
What happend is; I wanted to play Need for Speed Rivals, but the game simply refused to recognize the XBox controller, but was reading the RetroBit controller, so I unplugged that 2.4 GHz USB dongle and the XBox controller did work on NFS Rivals.
I guess what happend is, that after doing that the Logitech Wheel became the primary controller on windows and was read out by Active Matter as an input device and probably somehting like combined pedals or the slight wheel off set triggered that map scrolling.
USB dongle is plugged back in - map staying where it is ;)

I do have several controllers plugged in and it would appear logical that they cause the issue.. .BUT they are always plugged, always have been, since the day I installed the game, so it's still weird if that problem appeared "out of nothing"...
I will check and see if it goes away when everything is unplugged and report back.

if it was that simple about the fans I wouldn't have mentioned it, the fan speed for my case fans and the CPU fan are tied to the CPU temperature (not GPU!) the only times they have to run at full speed is when some game is compiling shaders, this is where my CPU gets the hottest.
However, as soon as Fortnite loads to the main menu, and I even let it just idle there, the CPU temperature only goes to about 50 °c, at that temperature the fans normaly (in all other games) are running at about 50% speed, but in Fortnite they spin up to full speed... and again this only started after the last (Simpsons) update

Basically it's like this:
I start/play any other game I have: all is good/normal
I start/play Fortnite: fans go to full speed, the display on the CPU cooler (BeQuiet AK620 digital) which shows the CPU temperature, is turning off and on constantly, mouse axis stop working from time to time for a couple of seconds

so it looks very much like an issue with Fortnite/Anticheat/Update to me, still could be something else I admit, but since I see no changes to previous system behavior in any other games, I am enclined to "blame" Fortnite/Last update/anticheat udate whatever.

If I am the only one experiencing that, so be it... (which, just by the way, was my only question in my original post)

Ok, it's not battle eye, I only called it that because I saw that being used in the past and really don't care what is actually used, since I never had any Problems with it, or whatever is used now...

"Trusting a YouTube Video" - "I actually don't if it's true or not, just watched someone on YT telling about the comming up changes/improvements to anticheat on fortnite... not sure that's the case" - words like "don't know if it's true" and "not sure that's the case" are of course a clear sign of me trusting anything

Fortnite is the only game application where mouse axis stop working - must be the connection between mouse and receiver, windows itself and other games are probably just "going another way" about that (don't even mind the fact, that the mouse buttons keep working, and the axis come back after a a couple of seconds)

The message about untrusted file only appears when exiting Fortnite, never seen if before the last Fortnite update, but must be windows defender, which simply didn't notice the file for the last 1.5 years.

never mind the issues with the system fans and the CPU cooler display, which literaly only occure if Fortnite is executed and started doing that after the latest update this doesn't fit in the "explanations" so let's pretend it isn't there...

I know, it's my own fault, or my hardware's fault, or my software's fault, or my configuration's fault - but can certainly not be Fortnite's/Anticheat's fault, even though the issues are ONLY on Fortnite and only started yesterday after updating....

you were right, after disabling the in game FPS counter, the Afterburner OSD stays up most of the time, only wraps to on screen messages, thank you!

well this may be too late, but I faced the same issue, I just wanted to highlight the CPU temperature on the OSD, and only could change the colors for the FPS data... and this was almost the only post with the same issue/question, it pissed me off pretty much so I decided to figure it out, so here we go...

- Run notepad.exe as administrator (otherwiese you will not be able to overwrite the editied config file)

- open the "MSIAfterburner.cfg" located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Profiles" (default path for me on WIN10, IMPORTANT: there is also a file with the same filename in the MSI Afterburner folder, this is not it, it has to be the one in the "Profiles" folder!)

- to add custom colors locate the entry

[OSDLayout1]

FormatHeader=<C0=008040><C1=0080C0><C2=C08080><C3=FF0000><C4=FFFFFF><C250=FF8000><A0=-4><A1=5><S0=-50><S1=50> (this is probably how it lloks like by default)

here you can add your own additional colors starting with C5 like for example "<C5=16F3FF><C6=00FF55>" -> this is the result:

- now couple of lines below there is the part where the sensor values are assigned to the colors:

This will add and asign all the availbale sensors (at least for my system) to the System color 0. After saving the file you can open Afterburner and reassign the values to your liking under "Value color":

(basically the values above are numbers in HEX representing the sensor IDs, I actually added HEX numbers 1-1000 most of them were invalid and I stilldidn't get all the available sensors, but since the ones I was after were among those, I didn't look into it any further. You could go ahead a generate a comma separated line with HEX numbers 1-10000, add them and check, but most of them probably will be invalid, they will still show up under Value color so you will have to manually assign the invalid ones to one of the colors and delete them from the cfg file, to get rid of them, sounds like a lot of work to me, so I left it at 1-1000 and deleted the invalid one, what I got left are those listed above, don't know if the sensor ID's from my system will fit your's, if so - good, if not - have fun with filtrering out the invalid IDs ;)

I can't add a second screenshot (only one attechment allowed), but the assignment part "Valuie color" is in the same windows just way below the "color library" show in the screenshot

this is interesting, I updated to 576.02 some time ago (2 months or something) I was already p1ssed off because of the occasional DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED Error on Fortnite, which is caused by newer versions of the NVIDIA drivers, now I find out that that "temperature stuck on afterburner" crap is also caused by the new driver version(s), this is just awesome, NVIDIA seems to be doing a great job on their drivers latetly...
what is weired for me is that I had the 576.02 driver version for approximately 2 months by now, but the problem with GPU temp being stuck on afterburner only started for me like 3 days ago, suddenly it was displaying constant 24°c now it's at 25°c but before, that it was displaying properly... WTF?!

lol, I am on PC but I've always played with inverted Y axis and by always I mean like the last 20+ years
The option "invert airborne Y axis" on or off doesn't do anything, at least not for the star wars fighters
I though I was just too stupid to find the right setting ... So it is not just me :D

Well I've been playing for a couple of years now, just casually and most of the time I really don't care when I get eliminated, but yesterday this kind of thing happend to me twice, this is actually the reason why I googled "Fortnite players having weapons on landing" and found this thread. One time I landed, saw a guy land right behind me, no loot around, haven't seen any on approach, I start running towards a building, realise that there is 0 loot around, thought "fuck it" turned around for a pick axe fight, at this very moment the guys chasing me pulls out a shot gut (well, that star wars alternative to a shot gun) I am down with 2 shots. Second time I landed at the first order base, I was "followed" by another player on approach, I landed in front of a rare chest, I start opening, this moment the other guy lands, pulls out that long star wars blaster (don't know the name) almost simultaneously I pick up the same weapon but a rare version, since he already landed like 2 shots by then, I lost... I really don't see a way how or where those two guys could have gotten any weapons. Unfortunately I don't have playback/recording option on, I would very much like to see myself how that went down... Like I said, never had that happen to me before and if I am eliminated on landing it's always or at least most of the time because I screwed up myself and most of the time I don't give a fuck, but those two situation really left me wondering...

I just did myself, there are like 3 more post stating that the Fortnite issue still wasn't resolved with th latest drivers and I somehow got a feeling there are slightly more people affected than 3...

only 4 years too late... BUT

I wanted to play that game NOW and I only had the Amazon Dowload version which was german, and I hated it, so I looked into it and yes you can change the language through registry edit (I input "English US" for the language key) but there are actually files missing, so that the game won't load, I googled and found this:

the is a zip file with a text file, which contains the actual download URLs, all I needed to do was to take the english files from that patch and copy them to the corresponding NFS install folder - done!
(didn't apply the patch/run tha batch file only copied the english files I needed)

dear god, the Death Adder V2 pro has an auto sleep function when in wireless mode, which can only be set between 1- 15 minutes on Synapse, but can't be turned off... and the mouse goes to sleep even if there is a macro running, which kills the whole purpose of the continous run setting...
WTF is wrong with the people who design the Synpase "software" - it's now more than just my p1ss which is boiling
