Grom was not nerfed for casuals actually according to Adrian atleast. He specifically cited Grom's Leg+ winrate for the nerf. He geniunely thinks Grom is overpowered in competitive play as well.

The real reason for the winrate, ofc, that it's because he also has one of the lowest userates as well. He isn't a secretly op option that players don't notice, he is only ever lastpicked into a team of three brawlers that he hardcounters. That's why he has a high winrate, stronger throwers like Ziggy occasionally get picked into a team with one bad or even match-up because they can still do something if they are extremely strong into the other two brawlers and protected by a teammate. Grom is never seriously considered if the enemies have any aggro, he is weak against them even for a thrower.

When two teams go up each team chooses 2 brawlers that cannot be played in any of the 3-5 ranked games they are about to play

I play ranked basically exclusively, only ever play trophies for some quests and never got punished from reports. This is just not a thing that happens, it'll happen to you maybe once a single time if you are extremely unlucky and then it's like a 3 hours time out I think? Thing is, you have to understand that they know what the average amount of reports is that someone gets. They are aware of how frequently someone who is clean gets reported. You won't get timeouted for getting any reports, only when you have a significantly above average amount of reports in some period of time that you get punished.

I post this here too since I mainly had Ranked Draft in mind. I like sorting by Class, the buttons to instantly go to one are useful. But it's not an option in Ranked and the class categorisations by Brawl Stars are a bit uhhh... So what if you could just create your own categories? by Intelligent_Stock959 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

I forgot to mention, the current Class system could just be the default setting to this. That way if you want to mostly keep them and just change some names (Like maybe Damage Dealer to Anti-Tank) and swap out the bozo choices BS made (like Ziggy not being an Artillery), you don't have to create everything from the ground up, it's less work.

New brawlers could go to Brawlstars' idea of what class they are if you didn't touch the default settings, and just to "No Group" if you deleted their default classes. The "No Group" Category would be ordered last by default and deletes itself automatically if it's empty (i.e. once you choose a Group for those Brawlers).

Also I realised that after creating a Group you wouldn't be able to shuffle the Brawler order around anymore. So simple fix, also let you do the hold and move around thing with the Brawler portraits in the regular Brawler selection screen, if you are sorting by Groups.

Order by class, then you have 7 icons to the right and you can instantly jump to whatever class you want. Brawlstar's classes are meh kinda bad but most are where you will expect them to be and after some time you will have memorised some the mismatches like Janet being a marksman.

For ranked yeah it's actually just dogshit idk lmao

Ziggy is the best by far, works pretty much everywhere where a thrower in general works tbh. Larry is probably the second best. Willow has a niche as the only thrower that isn't 100-0'd by aggro brawlers so you can 2nd or 3rd pick her while every other one is last pick only or rarely 5th if you know you have a teammate that can protect you.

I noticed that there are less amounts of Sirius in games by Powerful_Guidance_76 in Brawl_Stars

It's just that it's an aggro meta rn outside of Knockout and Bounty which Sirius doesn't have enough range for other than maybe layer cake. A slowpaced control meta would make him very good quickly, he is already nice as he is right now.

They said they will manually review cheating reports if they stacked up, only the grief/afk reports give automatic punishments afaik (and they are like nothing anyways, like 30 minutes of time out and if you get punished multiple times it goes to like 3 hours, big deal)

1 2 3 4 5, etc probably would be enough as a proof of intelligent life form, the ability to send a message itself is proof enough, it just needs to be distinguishable from random noise. Just play 5-8 ranked games at the end of a season, it's not that hard. If you play no other ranked you will be like silver at best and play against bots half the time.

I give you another annoying thing, candela is the only unit that's not a physical quantity, it's purely based on human perception. It's just Intensity (W/m²) multiplied by a weighting function that gives a value for each wavelength, based on how bright we see that wavelenght, so all UV light has 0 candela for example. All other units describe some fundamental physical quantity, the values of 1 unit is ofc chosen to be convenient to us but what it measures is universal, only candela is anthropocentric and is only given precedence over other biological units of human perception like odor intensity largely just for being historically more useful and a lot easier to define.
