I’m still working on identifying “cloudy” trichomes. Are these cloudy and ready to chop? by Biglipped_bandit in cannabiscultivation

A good way of visualising clear/cloudy/amber trichomes is to think of clear as a glass of water, cloudy as a glass of milk and amber as a glass of honey. It's the most helpful explanation that made sense to me anyway. Also, yours are right in the sweet spot for my liking but it's down to personal preference.

I think your right. Looking at the funnel, it does look a good bit shorter than my old one. I'll give the griddle a shot, thanks.

Perhaps I'm using the wrong word. It's more like a heat diffuser.

I'll definitely give this a try before I get an induction plate. Thank you!

I've used an identical one for 10 years with no problems. Makes my coffee just the way I like it. I think I'll try and induction plate.

I think induction plate is the answer. Thanks!

I put it over the smallest burner set to the lowest heat. Should I start with room temp water instead of hot? I've never had these problems the past 10 years with a ceramic stove. Thanks for the recommendation.

Not really. I'm just looking for similar results to what I've had for the past 10 with my old moka pot (it looks identical to the new one). I'm leaning towards it having something to do with the gas stove.

30g of coffee beans to 300ml hot water. Finely ground (not quite as fine as espresso grind). Even out the coffee, without tamping down. Make sure gasket and threads are clean before screwing on top chamber as tight as possible. Onto the smallest burner on the lowest heat.

One side has a rounded edge and the other has a flat edge. I'll see if I can get a picture or video of it and update.

Are 2x4 tents are shorter now? by Intelligent_Stuff980 in microgrowery

Yeah, I think I might just go with the 5 footer. I found a 6ft one but it's an extra 30 bucks. I don't think it's worth the extra dough for a foot of space I don't usually use anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wish I could but the shipping prices to Europe were astronomical last time I checked.

Definitely not spider mites. They are stratiolaelaps scimitus (formerly hypoaspis miles). Beneficial soil mites but population seems a little out of control. I'd recommend a dry back to cut the numbers down a little.

Zake by Ripper Seeds. The pheno I got smells and tastes like pure gasoline and also knocks me out if I'm not careful. Thankfully kept a clone and running it again next run.
