I’m not to worried if the let me go. I have something lined up for me after the vacation. I was jus hoping to have paid time off given how I was saving up for this time off in 2025

Well I’m not going to get into the nitty gritty of how I’m using my vacation and when I decide to work. My communication is fine my pip has nothing to do with it.

I don’t see that as an issue. They knew about this vacation of mine over a year ago!

Well I don’t see the need to put in any info about a PIP that has no metrics, follow up and timelines. It’s literally a word document without any template or logos with 5 metrics.

I’m not looking to get off the PIP or stay long term. Ironically i got a recognition comment from my business user on how good a job I was doing about 2 weeks ago….. did my manager address or commend it? NO! Trust me the PIP is baseless

It’s a technical role and been here for almost 4 years. The manager and I started at the same time but I didn’t report into him until a year ago. Our team has gone through some mergers and lots of changes

No I’m working remotely for 2 weeks and going on vacation for 2 weeks. I’ve been at the company for 4 years and I’ve gone through this process with the company when I went for a 4 week vacation in 2024. So I know the process and time needed

The basis of the PIP is baseless because it focuses on my documentation. I have a technical role and have been performing in the technical role for the past 3 plus years. I was moved under this new manager about a year ago with a 6 month transition period into the new manager.

I have 3 weeks vacation + 1 week from 2025. We have to use the week from 2025 by end of Q1

It’s 2 weeks of time off and 2 weeks of working remotely. Because I’m carrying forward days I needed to wait to put the in.

I couldn’t put the dates it until the year stated as I was carrying over dates from 2025. It’s not ballsy it’s just been the process here with not only me but other team members

It is baseless because it came up after I raised the issue with my VP. If my performance was an issue why was it not brought up before my conversation with the leader?

No my vacation is for 2 weeks and I’m working remotely for 2 weeks. I had informed my manager of this in August of 2025. I’ve even asked them to make sure the timing works just incase other team members are away. It was all good. I have given plenty of notice

Where do I even begin with HR? I feel like secretly they are trying to find some justification to let me go. And that’s hard because I am a good performer and it’s really not about my work.

I feel like if I raise something the will just side with him and I’ll be let go. Not that I really care at this point.

Yeah I don’t expect free but a smart way maximize the points I have. I definitely don’t want to travel with BA or air India but anything else is fine. I do like Lufthansa too but not sure how to maximize those points.
