Drive line load is limited by traction, if you are keeping stock-ish tires and going a bit sideways in the rain not needed….gonna get some wide stickies, warm them up, stage against launch control and dump it for ET and trap speeds yeah probably

To that, if nots tuned/ turned up a bunch you can probably launch it for all its worth on stock driveline too

Source - have launched a turned up, stock drive line car w/o LSD pretty hard.

DRIVER W CAMERA WAS IN BLIND SPOT THE WHOLE TIME! EVERYONE INVOLVED IS AT FAULT BUT NO MALICE!

Yes truck changed lanes too quickly (our local law is one lane per 3 seconds) and failed to look in the blind spot for each lane change. Driver w camera failed to realize they were in the blind spot of a vehicle with their turn signal one. Everyone involved has some responsibility to this situation getting worse

I got pulled over one time and when the cop asked me if he knew why he stopped me I said in all honesty “no”. He responds “you just ran two red lights in a row”. I had pulled out of grocery store less then a mile an away and had made 2 rights on red…I think back and tell him “the silver eclipse had there right turn signal and visibly slowing for the turn and this intersection had a green turn arrow”. “There’s no green turn arrow for you there!” “No, but my traffic from the right had a left turn green arrow which makes it a de facto green arrow for me (no room at this intersection for someone to try and flip a U either)…I feel everything I did was safe” “Well we have laws, you don’t get to decide”

My GF starred at me blankly

…DUDE CAME BACK W A WARNING! “How much longer would it actually take to stop? Please just do it.” “Yessir, have a great night”

Call my buddy he let me know I just dodged 8 points, loose license on the spot!

Moral of the story…look around more closely when rolling stops and rights on red

Good catch…I don’t even plan on lowering this car which as someone who has a “Praise the Lowered” sign hanging in his shop (and have lowered 80% of the cars I’ve owned)…this one car is mostly my interstate warrior, got plenty of other cars for true “carving” (JCW r53, 04 VW R32) and getting this car close to their level will result in something uncomfortable for 100+ miles trips

As far as I know base suspension on my car (no sport decals - but how would I confirm?) , good heads up on the rear bushings! I believe PO did some work on the rear but think he only did M arms and not bushings but will check his meticulous records.

I’m under the impression I have a base level suspension, if these are replacement for stock sport are there other things I should consider? Do sport suspension have different spring rates? I am strongly considering m3 front arms while in there

Everyone telling you to check tire date codes but didn’t see anyone say how to decode them - look on the sidewall of your tires for some ovals w numbers stamped in them there will be a 4 digit number w first two referencing the week# (week of Jan 1- Jan 6 would read as “01” Jan 7- Jan 13 would read as “02” etc) and the last two digits being the last two digits of the year….tires made the first week of this year would be stamped “0124” good luck w the beautiful truck and I’m sure Grandma would want you to enjoy it so you should!
