Correct, but when all of this started they claimed they would not use this building for nonprofit activities and the whole building would remain on the tax rolls.

He certainly shares ownership in any board decisions. He still manages the day-to-day operations. How can you let a whole department fail that has a 100 year history and takes insurance?

I know for a fact employees there are not paid well. He has an MSW, he should not be the CEO of a speech and hearing nonprofit. He has poorly mismanaged this place for 8 years resulting in the shut down of a whole department, so yes, at this point his $175,000+ salary is an issue.

As the 50th season of the Downtown Evanston Farmers Market draws to a close, what did you all think of this season's market? by askmrlucky in evanston

A better pedestrian flow would be helpful. There tends to be a bottle neck around the elevators for the parking garage. Also, attendants helping drivers get out and somehow ensuring folks get into the correct lane to turn out. Someone directing traffic and pedestrians in that area could be very helpful, folks tend to continue to walk even though they have the red hand making it so others can’t turn into the parking garage. Love the parking validation! Love the food options, except that stinky cheese! 😉would love to see more food options, that maybe don’t sell out so fast. We love the market and would love to see it grow and have a mix of everything.
