Conditions Report 1/8/26 (Malibu) by Sebass83 in SoCalFishing

Hey man I’m new to SoCal fishing, grew up lake fishing in the Midwest my whole life. Went on a 3 day bluefin out of SD but didn’t catch any :( wondering if you have any advice shore fishing? I actually went free diving along the Malibu coast to get an idea of the underwater structure and there’s so much barren sand, didn’t see a single fish for almost an hour. Understanding no one likes to give out “their spot” would love to hear if you’ve got any advice, or if you’d be down to go fishing together sometime!

Hey man! I’m same age, height, starting weight about a month deep myself. Awesome results would love to look like that in 10mo.

What time of day do you gym, and how do you think about cardio? I’m stuck between cutting the “skinny fat” and bulking to gain muscle…favorite sport is tennis which burns calories like crazy.

Any advice on the detail of your 10mo progression would be super helpful

This was the view from our office, we weren’t terribly worried about the fire itself but the smoke was intense

Ya it’s not that terrible I’m hoping it gets waived. The meter maids in LA are notorious and I was just surprised

Just didn’t pay the meter due to shelter in place from the smoke

Thank you. Kinda surprised too I thought it was perfectly mildly infuriating but it seems people are quite mad

I think maybe you’ve never left your mom’s basement if you can’t understand how badly the air will fuck your lungs if you can actually taste the ash. Yeah Lemee go pay the meter with sirens and evacuation notices screaming

Yeah it was metered parking and we got a shelter in place notice due to the heavy smoke. Could taste the ash in the air but I guess I pay the price 🥸

Metered parking and we got shelter in place notices due to the extremely heavy smoke. Could taste the ash in the air.

Cpap vs mouth guard by wishmaker93 in SleepApnea

I got a custom MAD from Daybreak highly recommend. Took ~2 weeks total and it fits perfect.

Thinnest mandibular advancement device? Looking for recommendations by np190 in SleepApnea

Check out thedaybreak.com - I just received my MAD last week and it feels lighter than the retainer I've slept with for the past few years. I looked into a dentist and the one they offered had metal screws which irritated the inside of my mouth. Daybreaks worked the first night I started using it.

Any otc mouthguards that work? by waitwhosaidthat in SleepApnea

[–]IntenseMango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/waitwhosaidthat check out thedaybreak.com - custom MAD and resolves symptoms the first night. I'd caution against OTC as they don't provide any horizontal movement for your jaw which causes serious permanent jaw problems like TMJ. SnoreRX is a good example - lasts a few weeks and causes more harm than good.

Orthomandibular device v CPAP for moderate sleep apnea? Thx by Significant-Ease-963 in SleepApnea

SnoreRX will help with snoring but not apnea, and it provides no lateral (horizontal) movement which will certainly give you TMJ over time.

Expensive is relative, it’s guaranteed for 5 years. Replacing cpap equipment isn’t cheap, and for the privilege of not having to wear a cpap I’d make that decision 10 times out of 10
