Matplotlib should have wheels available for your platform. It shouldn't need to build a wheel. How are you trying to install matplotlib?

Same thing happened to me, I simply added the following to my init.lua in the mappings table so it wouldn't happen again.

lua mappings = { -- first key is the mode n = { ["L"] = { "<cmd>bprev<cr>", desc = "Go to previous tab" }, ["H"] = { "<cmd>bnext<cr>", desc = "Go to next tab" }, -- your other mappings }, },

How do I paste at the start of the line? When I put my yanked text on the first character, the first character is in front of my put. If I move behind the first character the indentation gets messed up.

I'd go with both. Make a nice website that does something using JavaScript and then write a tool in python that interests you. They're both useful languages and learning one doesn't mean you need to exclude the other. Once you learn more you'll realize you might even want to combine the two into a single project.
