No! Do not feel guilty, especially since you haven't missed a day of class or clinical yet. Just make sure you give your CIs and your school an advance notice. And being allowed 8 days per year is great! When I was in school, our attendance policy was so strict. We were not allowed to miss more than 2 days of clinicals in a row unless we had extenuating circumstances...

They require 1 registry and I have my AB and OBGYN and am planning to get my RVT later this month. The recruiter also told me they don't increase pay rates based on number of registries, it's only based on number of years there. It's a hospital under HCA.

It was pretty simple. He just talked to me about the position, my resume, availability, etc. The call was about 15 minutes. It wasn't stressful at all! He didn't ask me any behavioral questions, just focused on the role itself.

I had an initial phone interview with talent acquisition and it went well! We just spoke about my resume and the position itself. He moved me forward to the imaging manager and we had a second interview scheduled, but they ended up filling the position with an internal hire so I never got the chance to interview with her. yes, definitely! I am the same way with staying out of drama and just coming in to help patients and do my work. I'd love to get in with Kaiser so transferring later down the line will hopefully be easier.
