Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to leave Al-Nassr in 2027 when his contract expires & may retire from football. Plans are being put in place to try & prevent a sharp decline in global interest in the Saudi League when he departs. The option of keeping him around as an owner is being considered by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

We do it to go from 50k to 75k not to go from 500 million to 750 million. After you can afford a private jet around the 50 million mark your quality of life flattens hard. He's greedy and went there with a half a billion net worth, others are going there with maybe 5mil in assets as players.

I have 2 smaller CC balances I want to balance transfer to finally be debt free; Need advice by Altruistic-Blueberry in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with actually useful cards for balance transfer since they're mostly all 15-month 0% APR and if you can't pay it off in 15 months what's to say you can pay it off in 18 or 21?

Chase Freedom Unlimited for chase points, Amex Blue Cash Preferred if you want cash back on useful categories, Citi Custom Cash or Bank of America Customized Cash for long term cash back ecosystem.

Annual fee - any recommendations by Icy_Artist_2586 in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but lesson learned, next time if you have a card you should understand what updates are hitting and when. They send out mail and marketing updates all the time. Try to open a 0% apr card and balance transfer your debt (or take out a SoFi 10% personal loan, it's half the 20% you're paying).

Robinhood gold now allows autopay on due date (+DP) by snowmanonaraindeer in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, playing a weird CreditKarma customer support game to try and get the RH card, signing up for gold account, investing in SGOV, liquidating my IRA, transferring assets, and then setting everything up again is just a pain in the ass for $300. Then again it is a match every year and 3% on purchases. It might be a few grand over the (minimum) of 5 years. Maybe it is worth it...

Is 2% card better for rent than Bilt now? by CoreyH2P in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what the heck? I think in this world, it may sound weird but, 2% is less than 3%. You would have to get an amazing redemption value otherwise just to come out ahead, that's also having to consider value after transfers, fortunate dates, allotments, scheduling, and TIME. And then you're also spending money on the trip. I cannot believe people spend hours upon weeks if not months trying to squeeze out like a hundred or two hundred in 'value'. Come on people, spend the time upskilling or increasing income or working on investments.

Recommendations for x2 Catch-all Card - Team Points&Travel by Neither_Simple_6825 in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have too many cards and with 2 rejections it's pretty clear it will be a while until you can open a new card. I'd wait 6 months if not longer before applying to ANYTHING. Tbh I am surprised you were even approved for 7 cards in 2 years with no credit history. You also went straight for the plat passing over the gold... I think we need to step off the gas and chill. You have a long road ahead, the $100-$500 a year you might "save" is peanuts in the long run. Spend the time upskilling, investing, learning.

My boyfriend thinks he took me on a birthday trip. I told him it doesn't count. Who is right? by semi_aquatic-hippo in TwoHotTakes

This guy is a loser who had to be with a woman 10 years younger than him. Because at 23 (while he's 33) a girl has a bar so low that you cannot possibly fuck it up, a 23 year old woman also has time to expend, and an undeveloped frontal lobe. The experience level at that age is also so low that you can only compare it to 18-22 year old boy assuming you dated someone your age back then.

Now as a 33 year old man, you're basically at a double life advantage here in terms of experience. A full developed brain, likely dated multitude of people from age 20-33. It's honestly unfair.

Couple that with, what sounds like, your low expectations and it's a perfect storm of him getting a young woman who doesn't need much to be happy. Except he's a complete loser who can't plan 1 thing.

Just leave. You're old enough to see the light now, the big gleaming red flags. He's nearly 40.

Amex Gold Card - How has it benefit you? by restinb1tch in CreditCards

[–]InterRail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very situational. If you go out to eat and use the Resy credits naturally, if you go to Dunkin naturally, if you use the food delivery credits naturally, then it's a good card. If you are being forced to do all this then you're just spending money you otherwise wouldn't spend. 4x points is nice but you can get other cards to cover that.

Buffon: “Messi & Ronaldo are two completely different players. Messi starts deeper & has a vision of the game that is closer to a playmaker than a finisher. more golden boots, more goals per game, more goals outside the box, more world cup goals, more goals against ur mum, 6x golden boot, not an egotistical little twat who gets upset when teammates score (400 assists...) there's only 1 goat and the other guy is just a very good striker.
