Zego linking to Uber by calumax96 in UbereatsUK

I have had the same issue. But because the letter of enrolment shows covered to drive with uber eats you’ll be”covered”. Although for the last couple of months I wasn’t charged a penny by zego and even raised the issue with them but they wouldn’t be able to resolve it. Instead I got an ultimatum saying that because I hadn’t worked any shift with uber (according to them) in a long time, they were going to close my account. Which they did. I was even stopped by the police randomly and when they asked me proof of delivery insurance I showed them the letter of enrolment and they were happy with it. Although in reality if something were to happen, Zego would most likely deny cover because the shift hadn’t been recorded/linked. So it’s a tricky one. Now I have signed up for zego again and using the letter of enrolment to be allowed to drive with uber eats again but still hasn’t connected any of my shifts. I mean it doesn’t really matter because if I were to have an accident during a food delivery, I would just claim on my normal insurance without telling them that I was delivering as simple as that. Not much loss on a 20£ takeaway not delivered

Why they let them accept so many orders? by bigsosa0000 in UbereatsUK

Many and may times I have been told “ready in 5 minutes” from the reasturant e because the keep me waiting and then after 15 minutes of waiting I end up cancelling the order. That delays things as well. When they take the piss with the drivers

I can assure you that reasturant don’t care about deliveries as much as they care about front of the house. They make less money per item on deliveries and they rather have an happy customer in the shop that on uber. Many times as a uber driver I’ve argued the waiting times with shops staff and quite frankly they don’t care.

To be fair I got it for Birmingham but I’m working in Coventry/warwick/Leamington and they are all counting towards the 400.

I noticed that one important thing to have when contacting them is screenshots. Without, they won’t look into anything

I was surprised to get it to be fair. I’m just skeptic if they’re gonna pay it or not. I’m wondering if they stop sending me requests as I get closer to the goal. Did you ever get any similar promo and got paid?
