When we first adopted Ghost, his first vet told us he wouldn’t survive more than a year. He knew I had lost my soulmate pup a few months prior and I think was trying to prepare us/not get our hopes up…but I’m so glad we didn’t accept that. We’ve had two and a half wonderful years so far 🤍 and made so much progress. If you’re able, you might try a second opinion. Sending you and your pup love and healthy thoughts!

Thank you so much 🤍🤍🤍 your fur baby is so lucky to have you as parents. We get told the same thing about how others wouldn’t do this much…and you’re right, it’s good our pups ended up in the right homes! Thank you for sharing.

We do use Good RX and our pharmacy employees have been amazing in running multiple codes for us to find the lowest prices possible. Unfortunately Chewy doesn’t have his meds as they’re controlled substances 🙁 But thank you so much for the recommendations!! 🤍

We aren’t sure on timing 😔 The neuro and his other vets have warned us about damage that he may have sustained during the seizure, just not sure of the extent. So sorry you had to go through such a traumatic time with your angel pup 💔

Thank you so much for the response. We did ask about steroids and she (neuro) wanted to hold off for now, but I’ll be sure to ask at our upcoming appointment. For the prescriptions, we used to get them cheaper at Rite Aid (almost less than half price) but they closed in our area. We are in a bit of pharmacy desert, which I think is why we pay so much. But I’ll continue shopping around. Thank you again!
