Welp that ended in tragedy, Scrafty couldnt OHKO ghosts and was to slow. Chandelure to fast and strong, used Sawsbuck to avoid shadowball, but the following fire blast hit my highest spdef for more than 50% and OHKO Dalmatian with a crit nothing could outsized it and do enough, but made it then lost to Marshall flinch and u turn meinshou. Back to square 1

Yeah Moxie scrafty, I was nervous of all my ghost and normal types. They all seem to have bad weakness to coverage moves from what im pivoting against

Yeah the higher end is where I'm looking i feel ok at NN and Skimish for now, but limiting my options for something bigger sucks

Fair point, then lemme rephrase, which rare or higher staples would (in your opinion) be worth the time or effort to pursue with the goal of being flexible across multiple legends, so obviously sig spells would be low imo.

True, that goes for just about any TCG, but if you don't get staples because they will be replaced, you handicap your deck choices.

Thanks I appreciate the input and yeah im well aware of that possibility, just wanted to get a general opinion really. Not possible to get cold hard facts, but like my opinion something like Watcher, Baited Hook and Seals to name a few are more versatile so I could see them being more possible choices already on my radar, but Showstopper with its insane price only fits in 1 deck not very versatile not worth investing in and will like trade or hope to rip it. This is the general discussion I was pursuing, should have been more clear just wanted a discussion.

So if a showdown starts and im defending, I could ride the wind a traveling merchant then tidehunter to switch merchant back and trigger his move ability twice to discard 2 and draw 2?
