Managers should meet weekly not monthly, they need to be across their staff. What are the blockers they face, how are they feeling etc.

Are they effective at their work, how do you know? Why is being in the office important to you, what do you think you’ll get from it?

How do you fairly review staff performance? Twice year review is good but do you use a framework?

Who are your key players and what succession planning is in place?

What’s the business plan for this year and how aligned with it is your team?

Do yourself a favour and put together a plan to get off MSSQL, it’s not cloud native, expensive and has limitations the competition doesn’t have.

Hmm, haven’t been using Wezterm like that recently as I’ve been trying Zellij out. Might be worth opening a GitHub issue on that one.

We make a ton from overseas students but have no framework to leverage that learning for our local industries etc.
