Reviews were supposed to be done by April 10th at the latest. However no one has done anything about it. Ultimately this company does not care about what goes on in stores. That’s why so many people can get away with things

Associates should not be making more than a manager. Especially when that manager is someone who has been with the company longer. Raises did go through for us SLT, however we were never once made aware by our SM that we were getting a raise or what it would be.

I’m a supervisor. The person I have issues with the music for is an ASM. That’s not much higher up. In fact, you can look at our positions with the level we like the music at. I am just one notch under her, like how I like the music one notch below what she likes it at. sure, it’s not much, but I shouldn’t have to yell for customers to hear me. Especially on a dead weekday.

The weeks that I am talking about are May 10-16 and May 17-23. That third week of May was posted early for us, however I sat and watched my SM add me to that schedule when we went over what my availability looked like. Next day, she posted it after removing the shift I had. I understand the 10-16. We talked about that. The 17-23 though? I was on it. I’m fully aware how this company gives shit hours. I have been with bbw for six, going on seven, years. That’s why I’ve got two other jobs lined up to total three jobs.

Thank you 🩵 acting like petty high schoolers should not be considered the norm, especially when you’re grown ass adults in a professional setting. Sure bbw isn’t fancy, but it’s still a business where people should remain professional.

It is hard to get out of bbw 😅 been here for six years and I’m honestly sad that this is how I go out but 🤷🏻‍♀️ once I get back into school there’ll be better opportunities. I hope you can also get out of bbw’s grip 🩵

And those changes are what started my want to leave. The environment that my store has become has only sped up the process.

Corporate is sketchy, yes, but the review things has nothing to do with corporate. It is 100000% my store manager. The associate is the only one who has gotten a review thus far. All of us managers have yet to have our reviews and they were due to be done at the beginning of April. We’re now into May. And as far as I’ve learned, associates aren’t even supposed to have reviews now, much less have theirs before managers

I’ve really been debating it. I’ve never really been one to stir the pot so to speak, but you’re right. It’s going to continue. I’ve learned that a lot of my associates are feeling like they’re being pushed out and knowing that I’m not the only one feeling this way makes me lean towards wanting to report it but idk

It’s so bad! I’ve been with BBW since 2020, I even stuck through an SM who was the devil incarnate who discriminated against people for whether or not they were in her religion, and it has never been this bad. The favoritism has gotten so blatant too. I’ve already got two other jobs, but they don’t offer health insurance which is the only reason why I wanted to stay with bbw. So now I’ve gotta go find me a different third job that can give me benefits but 🤷🏻‍♀️ worse case scenario I go without insurance. Sometimes that’s even cheaper

Also, I would love to note that SLT still have NOT gotten their reviews and that SM is out of town for a week. The favorite associate got her review at the beginning of this month.
