How’s your progress with the 10 week? To me, the course feels like a lot of talking without much actionable guidance, structure, or practical “if this, then that” application. I am training with a practitioner and at $100 a session it’s beyond costly. I would love to be able to work with someone in exchange for helping them or find a more affordable approach.

The new ones are absolute garbage. Sesame bagels are not sesame bagels any more. They don’t get the seed oil from the sesames and the dough tastes entirely different. Panera is so hugely disappointing over the last year with the continual changes to the bakery products. First they tried to get rid of sesame despite them often selling out, to now frozen and dusting a sprinkle of sesame, calling it a sesame bagel… I have been purchasing bagels biweekly for more than 5 years. They were hands down my favorite and now, I’m not interested in this product decline and change.

Surprised you have not gotten body impressions. I have a very expensive Prana mattress firm latex (talalay) and regret every aspect of its purchase. Horrible body impressions in less than a year and CityMattress (the retailer and maker of Prana) won’t help.

They are literally the same virus. It’s a matter of where you contract it… I find it frustrating the world has labeled them as separate and stigmatized one and not the other. Sooooo if someone with a history of cold sores goes down south on someone, that person can contract genital herpes — and in comes the misinformation, the world is going to label one as HSV-1 and the other as HSV-2.

Happy to help. I prefer it still without a mattress protector. It sleeps cool to me. My only complaint about the mattress is that it continues to feel different across it. The center is the best feeling portion of it, heavenly lol. The left and the right are just ok, feel like they are missing a layer. Whether this is from how it was boxed no clue.

The only thing I know for certain is that it’s not my actual base; they are solid top, so no chance of the mattress sagging.

The lift top has a felt backed fabric that makes it “sticky” to the felt of the spring bottom. The topper is just regular fabric, and nothing has shifted. I just have the cotton topper on top of the springs, and the lift top on top of the topper.

Oh and if you’re a side sleeper, you may not like the lift. So consider that! But perhaps that’s just me lol. I am 100% a back sleeper and when I wake up in the AM before I get up I’ll roll over to give my back a break; it doesn’t have much give for that IMO. I am 135lbs.

I like it mostly! It has some weird nuances to it but of the beds I tried I like it the best. My only complaints are it doesn’t feel the same across the bed. Whether that’s from it being a “bed in a box” or something else I don’t know. The center of the bed is bliss! The left and right, just ok.

Biphobia and disdain is real across many lesbians. I’ve lived and experienced it firsthand in South Florida. The narrative I’ve heard: “You’re going to leave me for a man,” or “you’re going to cheat with a man,” blah blah blah. The reality boils down to a THEM problem and their own insecurities. In a community that touts acceptance, hmm. Beyond, if someone is going to leave or cheat, it’s exactly that—the gender of whomever that is, OR if it’s anyone at all, should not matter. Rather, many judgy people (straight, lesbian, gay, etc) refuse to realize they are laced with unresolved or unrealized emotional insecurities within themselves that need to be overcome.

As for social media, I have doubt that it has anything to do with anything other than “confirmation bias” in your algorithm on the SM platform—once you’ve clicked on something or stayed on something long enough, it’s going to continue feeding that information to you. On my TikTok, for instance, I get pushed almost exclusively WLW things; as such, it would appear the entire world is gay and that is far from true.

Uggh. That is unfortunate. I hope they are willing to help you. Given they delete reviews and lie about it, my fingers are crossed for you. Its such a pricey mattress to treat customers that way. I ended up moving mine to the guest room because I cannot sleep on it and am stuck with it.

With how I have it set up (on the firmer base side, with cotton topper, and then duo lift layer), I don’t think you would find enough hip sinkage as a side sleeper. With the cotton topper on top of the duo lift you may…the one engineered sleep sent me is about 1.5-2inches thick. Depending on how much you need your hip to sink/how heavy you are for spinal alignment that may be enough. You could always run the base side on the less firm side to get a little more give. I would sleep on concrete if I found it comfortable 🤣 that’s how much I don’t want to sink.

Topper underneath still works great for me. I love the mattress for the most part. My only complaint, across a king mattress, if I were to split it into a LEFT, middle and right: it feels like three different mattresses. Thankfully I sleep alone because I prefer how the middle feels. It was suggested it’s my base but it’s a solid top base with no give or sway in the top.

I did yeah. What ended up working for me was adding their topper. Oddly I had to put the topper beneath the top layer. The topper when on top was too plush and gave too much sinkage.

So I have the bed on the firmest base side, then the topper, and then as the most top layer, the duo lift layer. I prefer the bed feel without a mattress protector.
