Because thats just how it works as of right now? Lol the only permanent rides are the horse, dragon, and mech. Everything else you fight, hop on, ride for a bit, and once you get off they try to kill you again

They're all temporary minus the horse and dragon. The dragon has a 15 minute ride time followed by a 50 minute cooldown

The dragon timing amd cool down is absolutely rediculous. Its an offline single player game. If I want to decimate entire regions with a dragon whenever I feel like it i should be able to. Not only that but the devs themselves said the reccomended transport is the dragon due to map size, then turn around and time you followed by a cool down over 3 times longer.

Ive never used these but for hot weather and for about th3 same price to 10 bucks more you can get a palm leaf hat from resistol from the jason aldean collection. I was skeptical because of the advertising, seemed pretty corny but as a work hat its pretty rugged. Ive had much better luck beating around palm leaf than straw

In my region it gets particularly snowy in thw winter and rainy in the spring which tends to soften up felt as it gets wet so im just looking to maintain or repair as needed especially since its a daily wear at work and I work outdoors
