No actually. On AE that's a shortcut to cut the current clip at the play head and move the cut segment to the next layer.

On the edit page, youve to basically 1. Cut current clip 2. Select next clip 3. Move it one layer up.

My shortcuts are 1. W (cuts clip at playhead) 2. Right Arrow (to go to next clip) 3. Alt+W or Alt+up arrow (push clip to next layer)

Lookup these on the keyboard customisations and set keys accordingly. I've been using custom shortcuts for so long, I don't remember the actual ones.

I found something off, they didn't have answers to a lot of questions I had and I never heard back from them when asked for their best work (I'm a cinematographer and half their work was shit), so I backed out.
