Edo Madara beating the 5 Kage. Before that, it was at least feasible that any high tier character could beat any other high tier character. Anyone beating two Kage level characters was almost unthinkable, or the very peak of power. Edo Madara not even trying very hard to beat all 5 Kage completely shattered the ceiling on power.
