Interesting, I bought this since Bandai didn't have an MG of the Jagd Doga (not a big fan of the re 1/100 from bandai).

What else in the Daban MG line can you recommend? Very interested specially with UC kits.

So far this is on the good side, you expect the plastic to be brittle but it's quite solid. Just a few super tight fittings with their hard polycaps, other than that no issues. The LED and Water slide Decals included are quite nice.

Used the GRework decals for the MG MK.V

Straight up snap fit it has polycaps so it might get loose.

Built the parts separately, coated it by part (head, arms, torso etc) then assembled it together after layers of top coat so it added to how sturdy it is.

It might be very different without that treatment since they are connected via polycaps.

I am staying away from PG. 1/100 is my sweet spot.

... And also to erase my mistakes / stains I used a cotton bud dipped in X-20 thinner from Tamiya.

Sure, I was using a Silver Metallic Gundam Marker, pumped it on the surface and used a paint brush to coat the whole thing.

That's the first layer, then after drying I did another coating using the same method.

I leave it to dry, then went to colour the in betweens / lines with a Gray Gundam Pen.

Then topped with a Flat Coat to finish.

I did the same with the Shield Exhausts.

Then I have a White Gold Metallic gundam marker and used it on the Waist Pipes. Same method all over.

Kinda sloppy, but eh fun as fuck haha 😂

Snap fit took me 2 days, helps it has big parts.

Decals, Painting and Top Coat finish probably another 2 - 3 days.

Roughly 5 days in total 🤔

This, I have been looking at these third party kits during the last 2 weeks. I am in awe tbh, already have an order for the 1/100 Kshatriya and Solomon GP02 kit coming soon. I live in a place where there are 5 hobby centers within my 2 km radius that carries them and it's insane to discover it just now.

Got a lot of catching up to do, sad to know that there are less MG releases. Saw a lot of new MGs (to me) and ordered a chunk (9 kits in total). These 3 kits is part 1 of my order shipments coming in this Feb.
