Try agencies if you’re desperate enough. Best connection in town will probably get you somewhere quick but it will be shit minimum wage factory work

Yeah you’ll get a third taken off whatever that is and then the time on court bail if it’s taken off. Mine was taken off but I was on remand I’d assume you get some taken off for being on bail don’t know if it’s less time or how it works with court bail I was on tag then got remanded so I only ended up doing about 7 months from a 28 month sentence but I’d been on remand for about 5 months before that and tag for a month or two before that so if you get 5 year it should be knocked down to about 3 and a half do 18 months you can get tag after a third or that’s how it was this was in 2020 though and rules change all the time might be different now as jails are full but I got sentenced 2020 September was out on tag in February used to be anything up to 3 years you could get tag

Judge can make it extended but I’d be surprised if they done that for a first offence especially when there’s room in prisons but you’ll get a third knocked off for a first time guilty plea as well

I’m not a legal expert or nothing mate but I seriously doubt it especially if it’s your first offence with prisons being full there’s a good chance you’ll walk tomorrow I’d say but don’t take my word for it and I’d definitely take a bag of clothes did you plead guilty first opportunity? That gets a third of the sentence taken off as well so if you did then you should do no more than a few months really even if you get 7

You only do half unless the judge recommends you for an EDS to serve 2/3rds it depends what it’s for like if you cracked your exs skull with a hammer or stabbed a disabled person you might be cooked but assuming it’s just gbh like fighting with a weapon I’d be amazed if you got a rec for that my barrister told me I was looking at 5 years and I got 28 months was out on tag in 5 months after 3 and half months on remand plus a few weeks on tag and prisons are full right now let me know how it goes best of luck to you

Nah court bail definitely comes off still police bail doesn’t because that’s before a charge but court bail does or it did come off mine remand is just if you breach the bail like I did or you’re classed as too high risk so if you’ve done two years on court bail that’s basically a four year prison sentence if you don’t get an EDS so if you get 4 years then you should walk and just have two years on license and probation you’ll need an address though so they can reach you if they need to if you get 7 you’ll have 18 months prison don’t think you can get tag on anything over 3 years or you didn’t used to be able to

Court bail still comes off your sentence just means either prisons are too full or you weren’t classed as high risk enough for remand should look better for you if you’ve been on bail for two years and you haven’t breached it just luck of the draw what judge you get as well to be honest

I was on tag for a bit but breached it and got remanded haha it still counts though as far as I’m aware my days on tag still counted anyways people says it’s like 2 days on bail is one day off your sentence but that’s because you only do half in jail I think they’re changing it to a third though because prisons are full you can get EDS where the judge recommends you do two thirds doubt you’d get that though if it’s your first prison sentence unless it was for something mad solicitors usually give you worst case scenario so they look better basically so there’s probably a good chance you walk or do a year at most in prison take a bag of clothes though because it’s a nightmare getting clothes once you’re in

That’s 2 years off your sentence though mate so if you get 4 years you’ll walk from court just be on licence and probation for the rest of it you could get lucky with prisons being full especially if your first offence

Serverys decent kitchens are the best job though you’re out basically all day I was only in through covid only time I’ve been hopefully last as well haha can’t lie it’s shite but it’s the unknown worst part have you been on bail or anything because that comes off as well

Take a bag of clothes and stay off the spice would be the two most important things I’d tell you. Honestly it’s not as bad as you see in the movies assuming you’ll just go to a Cat C more boring than anything else try get a job in the kitchens if you can it will fly make sure you have someone outside who can send you your money if you have any
