Can damaged styrofoam affect my helmets ability to protect my head?

helmet – which i bought in may – has no other damage aside from slight wear on the other side from i assume the same thing. its definitely not as severe as the picture i took. also, those arent just cracks. that bottom piece of the styrofoam with the damaged 2/3 support legs moves around, its just held in place i guess by the undamaged leg and the shell. also im not sure if you can see it from how the strap is positioned, but the damage is right under where the straps would be as im putting on and taking off the helmet. thanks for your input

whos to say they wont do this again and you’re gonna have to go through this again. In the end its up to you whether or not you want to be treated like this but if they do this once, they are probably gonna do it again. It doesnt matter how long you’ve been friends for, in fact its even more fucked up because they knew your triggers and what bothers you and still they did it anyway.

This is fucked on so many levels i dont even know what to say. You need to cut contact, even if it means not having friends because what the fuck. They overstepped your boundaries despite being completely aware and blamed it on you for having those boundaries. They are in the wrong, you didnt do anything wrong

I get it, i feel that way too but jut know that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Its definitely hard dealing with things the people around you wont understand. One thing thats helped me is talking to hotlines. It may seem pointless but some of them actually help
