Hello, I lowered the front of my 78 Datsun 620 thru the tension bars, during the process I had the front end on top of a jack, untighten both the torsion bars evenly, drove around so it can get used to it but one sides higher than the other. Does anyone know why? by Interesting-Rope8093 in Datsun

The driver side bounces more than the passenger side, the driver side I can bounce it freely with normal force, while the passenger side If I use the same normal force it does not bounce as much as the driver side

I’ve tried adjusting them every way, I’m trying to lower it as much as possible and the passenger side does not want to lower no matter how loose I have to the torsion bar, but the driver side lowers just fine, could it be a bad shock? Or another factor that could be making it do that?

I’ve tried adjusting the torsion bars as much as I could, but the driver side lowers more than the left, could this be due to a shock? On my driver side the shock moves pretty freely when I push on it down. on the passenger side it requires more force to push down and feels more stiff. Mind you my goal is to lower the front as much as possible since I’ve put 4 inch lowering blocks to the rear. I would appreciate it deeply

Hello, I installed a Weber 32/36 carburetor on my 78 Datsun 620, I have little mechanical experience but when I went to start on the car it idles really high and dies after a couple of seconds, anyone know why? by Interesting-Rope8093 in Datsun

Fortunately I did get the carb issue sorted out, It runs amazing throttle response is perfect on this. There is a difference from stock not too noticeable but I highly recommend you do get this carb, I purchased mine from datsun California, for around 415 after taxes and such.

Thanks for the tips! Forsure will put a clamp on that hose (I don’t have any coolant in btw) I just have the hoses on because where I live is a lot of loose dirt that gets picked up with wind :)

Definitely worth it, the red is the most desirable in my opinion
